A Basic Introduction To The Disc Plow

Cultivated land machinery with a disc plough as a working part. The disc is usually part of the hollow sphere, the edge of which is ground out of the blade to cut grass and into the earth, and the disc is supported separately on the bearing of the plough column, and the disc surface is at an angle to the forward direction and the plumb direction, respectively, called the declination angle α and inclination angle β. On the general standard disc plow, there are 3 to 6 disc ploughshares. When working, the unit advances, the disc rolls into the soil, and the soil is raised along the concave surface of the disc while relying on the cooperation of the moldboard, so that the soil is flipped and broken. Disc plows are suitable for soils with heavy viscous, dry and hard, rocky and multiple roots; No frequent grinding and replacement required, low maintenance costs, and no solid trench bottom. Although the stubble cover is not complete, it is beneficial to prevent water loss in arid land and salinity return in saline land.
