Research status of rotary cultivators in China

In the domestic molding of rotary tillage machinery products, with horizontal rotary tillage machine as the mainstream, the rotary tillage machine has strong adaptability to soil, good effect of soil mixing, and one-time operation can meet the requirements of turning soil, crushed soil and leveling the surface. However, the general ploughing depth is shallow, the leakage of tillage is serious, the working parts are easy to entangle the grass and block the mud, and the power consumption is large during operation. For this purpose, vertical and diagonal rotary cultivators have been introduced. Vertical rotary tiller is mainly suitable for stubble extinguishing operation, oblique rotary tiller is a new type of tillage machine that integrates the characteristics of ploughing and rotary tillage, low power consumption and good tillage quality.

In the horizontal rotary cultivator, the steering of the rotary cultivator cutting knife shaft and the tractor wheel can be divided into two types: forward rotation and reversal. The rotary tiller cutter shaft and the tractor wheel turn in line with the forward rotary cultivator, and vice versa reverse rotary cultivator. The reverse rotary cultivator was proposed on the basis of the forward rotary cultivator, and later the submerged soil reverse rotary cultivator and the forward and reverse rotary cultivator were introduced. The reverse rotary tiller can be used as the main supporting tool of large and medium-sized combine harvesters, which can form soil stubble, which is conducive to straw return to the field and achieve the purpose of increasing soil organic matter. The submerged soil reversal rotary cultivator can increase the deep ploughing and effectively solve the problem of soil in front of the knife shaft. Through the combination of transmission mechanism and working parts, the forward and reverse rotary cultivator can make the knife shaft forward and backward, and complete the stubble extinguishing and rotary tillage at the same time, realizing a multi-purpose machine.
