Rotary cultivators have a strong ability to crush soil

It has a strong ability to crush the soil, and is mostly used for the cultivation of shrubland, marshlands and grassy wastelands. The working parts (see figure) include rotary slash rollers and several cutting blades evenly arranged according to multiple spirals, driven by the tractor power output shaft through the transmission device, and the commonly used speed is 190 ~ 280 rpm . The direction of rotation of the knife roller is usually the same as the direction in which the wheel of the tractor is rotated. The cutting blade cuts the soil layer from front to back and throws the soil block backwards and upwards onto the housing and the drag plate to break it further. When cutting and throwing soil on the roller, the reaction force of the soil to the roller helps to propel the unit forward, so the horizontal rotary cultivator requires little traction when operating, and sometimes even the knife roller pushes the unit forward.
